Building things that solve real problems.

I'm Shanmukhan. I build software products around everyday problems — from helping kids learn and helping neighborhoods trade food, to managing routines, protecting documents, and making shopping simpler.

Shanmukhan

Solo builder of everything on this page.

Every product here is designed, coded, and shipped by one person, end to end — idea, backend, app, and the Raspberry Pi this very page is served from.

✦ Built in collaboration with Claude, my AI pair-programmer — without it, shipping this much, this fast, solo, wouldn't have been possible.

Coming soon.

What's next on the bench — still wiring things up, not live yet.

Robo Car

A small, hackable robot car project — camera-driven navigation and remote control, built on an ESP32 for motor/sensor control and a Raspberry Pi for the heavier compute (vision, streaming). Domain and demo coming once it's off the breadboard.

How I build.

The products are different, but the idea behind them is consistent.

🎯

Start with a real problem.

The product comes after the problem. I prefer building something useful over building something merely because the technology is interesting.

🧩

Keep the experience simple.

Software should remove complexity, not introduce it. The best feature is often the one the user never has to think about.

🔁

Build, test, improve.

Ideas are cheap. Working software exposes what actually matters. Each product is an opportunity to learn and iterate.

🛡️

Privacy matters.

Where sensitive information is involved, control should stay with the user. VaultZero is a direct example of that principle.
